Today marks a day for celebrations and also not officially but the end of summer – but we know the time is getting near. I don’t mind Fall but I am not a fan of wintertime. I have no control over the weather but I would love to see summer stay all year round.

My husband and I were busy last week, we were dog sitting for one of my brother’s-in-law and his wife. Their dog, Gabby was adorable and very well-behaved! It didn’t take her long to get used to hearing our vehicles to where she no longer barked when we drove up into the driveway or walked into the house.

I hope to have a book review for you next week as this past week life has gotten in the way of things, though I did manage to write on my novels. (While we went to check on Gabby, I had my notepad along so I have several pages to transcribe to my computer.)

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!!! I’m signing off now to enjoy the day with my family. Until next week…

Happy Reading!
