A LOOK INSIDE: DANGEROUS LIASIONS
- HomeA LOOK INSIDE: DANGEROUS LIASIONS
Every writer considers every piece of work he or she writes as their ‘baby.’ I am no different. Dangerous Liaisons is one of my babies. Without giving away pertinent details so you won’t be disappointed when you read the book, I will give you insight into the characters and some tiny minor details.
Sierra Walters Lancaster is a Special Agent for the FBI and she is going to be a complex character. She was a very, very bright kid, so much so that she was allowed to skip a couple of grades in school. Therefore, now as an adult, she downplays her being known as ‘the one with the brains’ and focuses on her work fighting crime. (This will be an issue she deals with in my next book!)
As a teenager, she was bullied in school and had only a few close friends she hung around with. Johnny Nelson came to her rescue one day in school, told the bullies to leave Sierra alone. No one dared to mess with Johnny Nelson, nor his friends Brad and Jordan.
The foursome go to the same college together but what has happened prior to that, Sierra had been doing her friends’ homework, term papers, allowing them time to study for tests and this went on into college until something happened. And that is all I’m going to tell you. Sorry. Her friends didn’t know what happened, only that she left college. never to be heard from again.
Sierra and her partner Colton Jameson are involved in an undercover operation, things go wrong and both are injured. They have to lay low until the situation cools down.
Long story, short, Sierra goes back to her hometown, much to her dismay. Lexington, Virginia – the place where all the memories are – and where Johnny, Brad, and Jordan are living and working.
Sierra gets word that she is to go undercover in her own hometown – and at her old school – no one knows she’s FBI!
There’s more to come murder, stalking, illegal adoption, sexual tension….it will be EXPLOSIVE!!!!!
Join me next week as I introduce you to Colton Jameson and Maxwell Stewart.
